About

I run Valid, an AI-native ad agency that replaces 30-person teams with proprietary software and a few exceptional marketers. We deploy tens of millions in ad spend across Meta, TikTok, Google, and Snapchat for consumer brands scaling from Series B to unicorn status. Most agencies still operate like it's 2005. They staff up massive teams to do work that software should handle, charge retainers in the hundreds of thousands, move at the speed of bureaucracy, and give you zero visibility until the monthly check-in call. I built Valid because I knew there was a better model. I'm a mechanical engineer who accidentally fell in love with advertising. At 19, I launched a Kickstarter for a 16-function wallet I'd designed. It went nowhere. So I taught myself Facebook ads, made creative in PowerPoint, edited video in Windows Movie Maker, and set up the tracking pixel myself. Got positive ROAS. I was hooked. After stints at Amazon and Meta, I quit in 2023 to start Valid. The vision: create the ad agency that lasts the next hundred years. Since launch, we've grown from 5 people to 30+, raised from Canaan Partners and Reddit CEO Steve Huffman, and built a full-stack advertising company that isn't constrained by human bandwidth. How we’re different: We close the loop between media buying and creative production. Our media buying team has real-time visibility into performance data through tooling we built in-house. When we see what's working in the ad account, our Performance Creative team produces new AI-generated videos based on those insights, without the production timelines or budgets traditional agencies require. One elite marketer with our platform does what normally takes an entire creative department. Our focus is on outcomes. We've taken AI apps from 0 to 2x ROAS in 30 days, reduced CAC by 81% for tracking software, scaled an AI companion from TestFlight to 1,000,000 users, and increased profit margins by 40% for a photo service by rebuilding their entire creative strategy. If your agency can't explain what's actually driving sales, or if you're spending millions with zero transparency into performance, DM me.

  • I was a Technical Lead running IPX (water and dust proofing) for Meta's AR products. Meta had no IPX program prior to me joining. I grew the team from 1 to 4, covered two product lines, and owned water/dust proofing from design to customer delivery.
  • I also owned and delivered the WiFi solution for Meta's AR glasses.

  • I founded a company as my side project!
  • I sell a candle I invented that lights at the push of a button. The candle has real wax, a real flame, and a cotton wick. Yet it lights at the push of a button.
  • I invented the product, paired up with a contract manufacturer in China to mass produce it, and now sell it directly to consumers on my Shopify store.
