As the CEO of Business Assurance in DNV, I have the honor of leading great people who are dedicated to help our customers build sustainable businesses. Our commitment is to provide organizations with trusted certification of their management systems and training needs. After more than 25 years at DNV, I have had the satisfaction of seeing how companies in all industries across the globe have benefited from taking a structured approach to managing new and existing risks. We constantly strive to advance business assurance, increase competence and improve transparency across value chains to be a valuable partner for our customers. Being involved in our operations is what truly inspires me. The way we serve each customer every day is how we make an impact – contributing to that particular company’s success but also for the greater good of society. At the heart of this is our people at DNV who bring their knowledge, integrity and quality to every audit. Together, we see it as our obligation to continually evolve certification as a traceable way to build trust and a more sustainable future. I am also very proud to represent DNV through my involvement with international organizations, in particular my current role as Deputy Chair of the Independent International Organization (IIOC). The IIOC is dedicated to ensure good practices and quality in the certification industry and it's my belief that global engagement and collaborative partnerships is the best formula for all of us to progress.
