• Built the Probo Android app from scratch, defining architecture, coding standards that continue to power the platform today. Scaled the app from 0 → millions of users, handling crores of daily transactions with real-time event trading.
• Designed and implemented core features including Event Cards, Real-time Trading UI, Wallet Integration, Portfolio, and Notifications, ensuring a smooth UX with sub-200ms response times. Introduced Jetpack Compose, MVVM + Clean Architecture, Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, and modularization for long-term scalability and performance.
• Collaborated directly with the founding team to shape product strategy, engineering culture, and early hiring. Mentored junior developers and grew the Android team, driving best practices in code reviews, testing, and release management. Drove production stability, reducing crashes and ANRs while supporting millions of monthly active sessions.
• Product Innovation at Probo - Played a vital role in launching new features and verticals:
• Pulse → the social layer enabling community discussions and engagement
• UGC (User-Generated Content) → empowering users to create and share market ideas.
• Challenge Mode → gamified competitions to boost retention.
• Gully91 (Probo vertical): Built Gully91, a hyperlocal sports-tech platform, completely from scratch using Jetpack Compose. Designed it as a fully app-driven, offline first SaaS, where data was stored locally and synced seamlessly with the backend. Enabled organizers, coaches, and players to digitize match records, track performance history, and manage tournaments at the grassroots level.
• Envisioned and architected AskProbo, an AI-powered tool on Twitter that answers user questions with a unique blend of conversational AI and Probo’s probability engine delivering not just answers but deeper insights backed by likelihood and context.
