• I founded Oorjan as a way to help Indians adopt rooftop solar for their homes and businesses, thus helping them save money and environment at the same time.
• Oorjan was a tech-enabled marketplace that used digital marketing and customer acquisition strategies, with an IoT platform and easy financing to make solar affordable and trustworthy solution for the customer. Our mantra was: Cleantech + Fintech + IoT = Millions of Solar Roofs.

• 180+ fully converted solar customers. 4X the industry conversion rate
• Cum. sales of Rs. 20Cr with more than 30X growth from 2016 to 2018

• I became part of AREVA Product Sales team, after they acquired a Silicon Valley startup called Ausra that had developed a unique solar technology. The startup was funded by high-profile investors like Vinod Khosla.
• We signed a $180M contract with Reliance for the (at the time) largest solar thermal plant (125MW) for JNNSM Phase-1 using linear Fresnel technology.
• First 5 employees in the India office of AREVA solar, which went on to become hundreds of people over next 3 years.
• Championed AREVA’s steam augmentation solution to various stakeholders in India and US including government entities, industrial customers (biomass, cement, sugar) and regulators.

• InQuira was my first startup experience. We created an enterprise software platform that combined the power of natural language search, with real-time content management and found product-market fit at Fortune 1000 companies and their contact center operations.
• Key team member during the growth stage of InQuira.
• Saw revenues increase 5x to $40M. Acquired by Oracle in 2011 for $220M.
• Product manager for the natural language search product that contributed to 20% to the company revenue.
• Launched the product to expanded the Search capabilities of InQuira to 14 new languages, 2 new verticals.
• Led a 9 person product team, over an 18-month release cycle from writing project requirements, QA, training, documentation and Alpha A/B testing with select Fortune 1000 customers.

• Providian (acquired by Washinton Mutual, and then Chase) was a huge beneficiary of bringing marketing strategies to acquire Prime customers.
• Worked on direct mail, early internet strategies and co-branding to sell credit cards.

Jan 2004 – Sep 2004 · 8 mos · Richmond, Virginia Area

• Capital One is what happens when you put the smartest analytical minds together and let them do "data science" decades before it's even a term.
• Worked on credit card collection strategies and LTV analysis. Worked to improve cost-efficiency of call center operations, and identified an area where $Ms cost could be saved by better resource scheduling of call center personnel.

Aug 2000 – Jul 2002 · 1 yr 11 mos · India

• The "dream-job" out of IIT. Loved SLB for army-like camaraderie, "get stuff done" attitude" and the adventure - until I realized that digging for oil is as far from my ethical axis as possible.
• Led a technical and non-technical team, over 100 operations which generated over $3M in one of the best years for the location. One of the first woman engineers to work in Eastern India oilfields, a politically unstable area, for an extended time.
