I have worked in software industry for 25 years - developing software on IBM mainframe, DB2, IMS, CICS etc. In the last 10 years I was part of the process and quality group, worked on defining and implementing processes for ISO, CMM, CMMi, BS7799, BS15000 etc. I also founded Sevalaya, a Charity organization in 1988. I had originally decided not to spend time on earning money for self for more than 25 years and hence gave up my job at TCS on 1st April 2009. Now I am full time doing only charity work through Sevalaya. Specialties: I have the unique combination of knowing latest processes required to run a software project and also experience on running a charity based on the principles of Gandhi, Bharathi & Vivekaknanda. So I am able to apply my project management knowledge to running a charity, which has given very good results
