Before the audit work, I spent over a decade in operating roles. Hotel development finance across Europe and the Middle East. I managed budgets, ran P&Ls, handled procurement, built cash flow models, negotiated vendor contracts. When you're responsible for $100M+ in project budgets and something breaks, it costs real money. That's different from writing it up in an audit finding. esscale came out of those two experiences. The audit side showed me the standard. The operating side showed me how to build to it. Every engagement starts the same way. I look at what you have, what's missing, and what's exposed. That assessment defines the scope. Nothing starts until we agree on exactly what gets built.
