My role at Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Delhi involved working on the project Voice of Voyant – a Multilingual Interface for Digital Humanities where I worked on English → Hindi translation, ensuring accessibility and linguistic accuracy. As someone who usually translates in the reverse flow (Hindi → English), this project was a new challenge—and a rewarding one. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and reminded me that sometimes, the best learning happens when the direction is reversed.
This experience not only strengthened my skills but also deepened my appreciation for the nuances of language, culture, and accessibility in digital spaces.
