I’m a Lecturer (A) in Marketing and a PhD candidate at Monash University Malaysia My research sits at the intersection of consumption, politics, and culture, with a focus on populism, religion, and social movements in the marketplace. I'm a qualitative researcher and have developed AI-assisted reflexive qualitative research methodology. My work has been published in top tier journals such as Business & Society, Journal of Business Ethics, and presented at Marketing conferences like ACR, AP-ACR, ANZMAC, and the Macromarketing Conference. I also write for public platforms such as Newslaundry, PTI, and Round Table India. At Monash, I developed the AI in Marketing unit, which received the Dean’s Purple Letter for education leadership. I have also received Dean's Purple Letter for teaching Integrated Marketing Communications, and Literature Review units. I have held the Monash Graduate Research Excellence Scholarship and have previously received the Dean’s Honor List, Academic Excellence Medal, and Best Thesis Award for my Master’s research. Before transitioning into academia, I worked in sales roles at Reckitt and Olam International across India and West Africa. My work bridges critical theory, methodology, and research practice—interested in how technologies like AI reshape meaning-making, subjectivity, and power in contemporary markets.
