About

Published Author of works on 17th Century History. Currently writing a new & fresh biography of Lucy Walter. In my day job, I'm a thought leader and product marketing guru with a professional background in Procurement, Invoicing and Payments technologies with Ivalua. Even in this digital world, we still need to address the age-old problem of paying suppliers at the right time, whilst optimizing cash and make a return on invested capital. I've worked as a supplier, with billing teams to reduce invoicing costs, in the UK Government as an architect around the next-gen marketplace (even ran some events) and have worked with global Accounts Payable teams to help them process payments faster. Today, I present on supplier relationships, re-risking supply chains, ESG, Historical Supply Chain and the value of automating the whole spend cycle. I blend my digital knowledge with a deep understanding of the past to deliver compelling and entertaining presentations. #S2P #ESG #CashOptimization #LoveProcurement Whilst not revolutionising the Spend Cycle, I'm an Author & Historian with specialist knowledge of the life & times of the duke of Monmouth covering the Restoration to Revolution (1649 to 1695). My books Fighting for Liberty and One King! Provide a detailed, fresh and gritty account of the Monmouth Rebellion of 1685, My third & fourth books, the Science of Arms series, explaining the Art of War in late 17th Century. All published by Helion & Company. I'm currently writing of a biography of Lucy Walter, the Secret Queen for Pen & Sword.
