• As the User Interface Designer for the MANGLAM Inventory Management Software, I was responsible for designing an intuitive and user-friendly interface tailored to the operational needs of the company. I began by closely interacting with stakeholders—to understand the workflow, challenges, and expectations from the software. Based on this, I mapped user flows and created wireframes using Figma, ensuring that the design catered to real-time inventory tracking, supplier management, stock alerts, billing, and reporting.
• The focus was on developing a clean, responsive interface that simplified complex inventory processes. I used a modular grid layout and incorporated icons, colour schemes, and navigation patterns that made the platform easy to use for both office and warehouse staff. I also designed dashboards that offered quick visual insights into stock levels and reorder alerts. Throughout the design phase, I collaborated closely with the developer to ensure seamless integration of UI with the back-end system.
• User testing and feedback sessions were conducted to refine the interface and improve overall usability. I also created basic onboarding guides and documentation to help users understand the system better. This project allowed me to apply practical design skills in a real-world setting and strengthened my understanding of user-centered design, system functionality, and collaboration. The final product resulted in a streamlined, efficient inventory management system that improved accuracy, saved time, and enhanced productivity for the MANGLAM team.
