• In-charge of the company’s flagship product Dream Homes (a monthly) as well as its educational venture titled “Study in” series in terms of ideation, content generation and effective presentation. The job included creation of a comprehensive content plan for the guide based on a clear understanding of the needs of the student community for print and online.

• The role demanded the dual capacities of an editor and reporter. I was solely in-charge of the Sunday supplement "Theme", where 4 complete broadsheets were dedicated to a single topic. This was in terms of ideation, content co-ordination and production.
• I was also in charge of quality control for all other feature supplements covering Information Technology, Film, Real Estate, Education, Science, Health and Family Matters. Besides which I regularly contributed articles to all of the above supplements. I have more than 150 bylines to my credit.
• Efficiently handled team co-ordination and work delegation for the production of the supplements.
• Demonstrated an ability to switch between varying supplements to ensure that each one is progressing as per schedule.
• Displayed an innate ability to give a fresh spin to a run-of-the-mill topic and ensuring that all topics covered in respective supplements were of relevance.
• Was effective in management of issues related to inclusion of ads, creation and placement of advertorials, co-ordination with sales department as well as with relevant PR agencies which often result in layout change.
• Was entrusted with the creation of supplements which were a result of sales closures and thus produced on a time crunch.
• A highlight has been a personal interaction with several prominent people of society from the fields of medicine, Science, Information Technology, Social Welfare and Bollywood as well as activists of various causes.

• Over the span of two years I have produced approximately 20 programmes and looked into the dubbing of around 10 foreign cartoon software in to the Kannada language.
• In charge of a one-hour daily slot targeted primarily at children, from conceptualisation of each programme to the creation of the final telecast master.
• Ensured smooth co-ordination with various departments such as programming, camera, editing, finance as well as freelance directors for the creation of programmes.
• In house director of several children's programmes including Live Telecasts as well as special thematic programmes.
• Produced a vacation package of eight programmes telecast between April 15th 2002 and May 30th 2002. This was among the top 30 programmes in Kannada programming for the TRP months of April and May.

Jan 2000 – Jan 2001 · 1 yr

• Worked as a researcher on India's first reality-based documentary series, Hospital, which was telecast on BBC World in January 2001. Credited for the same. The profile required me to visit every department of the hospital to find relevant cases that could be worked into the narrative of the show. The opening case of the show was my discovery.
