I love selling products; I hate selling myself. Hi, This is Nitish. Turned 18 very recently, originally from Hyderabad and currently in HSR Layout, Bangalore, in an accelerator called Entrepreneurs First, which bets on people instead of ideas. I'm mostly high ticket closer/Sales generalist. Started freelancing in my 6th grade, then an agency in 8th grade agency with my main cash cows being community management for NFT & Web3 and lead gen for solar rooftops and retirement homes ($1M+ ARR at peak). Then, I got into academic AI research before the GPT era through an Internship at IIT KGP. Now I'm figuring out what to spend my next 10 yrs on while building my runway through doing part-time Real Estate as a broker. I understand that I lack the experience, but I make up for it through my neuroplasticity, which I personally take pride in. And "No", I'm not in college. Not against the concept of it, but don't want to just follow the path and think about it critically by exploring non-traditional learning paths. Border Bux, a cross-border payments startup based on stablecoins that does transactions at $0.001, and I wouldn't say instant, but 2 mins using blockchain, whereas normal providers like PayPal charge up to 6-7% and also take 2–3 days for the transfer.
My long-term vision was to make all types of cross-border payments real-time and zero-cost and build a Global Financial Super App on top of it. A platform where anyone from anywhere can access, move, store and grow money like never before through tokenisation and the first revenue plan was to make. My initial revenue would be through fixing the broken investment experience of NRIs in India and then upselling financial products.
Essentially built a product myself, which I thought would help others too.
