As a DevOps Engineer, I played a key role in architecting and managing CI/CD workflows, automating cloud infrastructure deployments, and streamlining cross-environment delivery processes across both AWS and Azure platforms.
I designed and implemented robust multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket for the entire development team. These pipelines were built to support Gradle-based builds, custom Docker image creation, and application deployments to Apache Tomcat servers across QA, Development, and Production environments. I also incorporated Liquibase-based database deployment stages to ensure seamless schema migrations in a version-controlled and automated manner. Additionally, I utilized AWS Systems Manager (SSM) to handle remote server management tasks and environment-specific configurations efficiently.
To support scalable, infrastructure-as-code-based deployments, I automated the provisioning and deployment of AWS, EFS, ALB, S3, EBS, Lambda functions through parameterized CloudFormation templates integrated into CI/CD pipelines. I also managed full-stack Elastic Beanstalk deployments (with Load Balancing and Auto Scaling) using CloudFormation, thereby minimizing manual intervention and ensuring consistent, repeatable deployment processes.
On the Azure side, I developed and maintained multi-stage YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps for end-to-end deployment of Azure Function Apps, which included build, deployment, and API Management (APIM) integration stages. These pipelines were rolled out across multiple environments including Development, QA, UAT, and Production. I also implemented scheduled and environment-specific execution of pipelines to support time-based deployments and managed release pipelines for passive region migration, ensuring zero-downtime and enhanced resilience.

As a DevOps Engineer, I designed and implemented multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, and Slack to automate commit-based deployments to Elastic Beanstalk (Test/Prod). I built an AWS Lambda–powered log analysis pipeline to process Beanstalk logs in S3, enabling fast querying via AWS Athena with custom filters, resulting in reduced log costs and improved insights.
I automated Redis RDB backups and log snapshots using Bash scripting, uploading them to Amazon S3 with versioning and notifications via Slack. I optimized Nginx (behind ELB) with the Geolocation module to block traffic from selected countries, improving system performance and security.
I also developed a large-scale MongoDB archival solution, moving TBs of data older than 3 months to S3 (Instant Retrieval) for cost savings and seamless querying through Athena.
For monitoring and analytics, I implemented full-stack observability across Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, and SQS using New Relic, CloudWatch, and Geckoboard. Additionally, I integrated Mixpanel and Excel-based dashboards for Android/iOS mobile app analytics, enabling real-time visibility into user behavior, crash trends, and growth metrics.
