Our first Industrial journey into the heart of power generation, where theory met reality and textbooks came to life. The experience was both exhilarating and educational, and I'd like to share some of the outcomes that left a lasting impact on me.
During this training, I had the privilege of gaining an in-depth understanding of power generation. I had the opportunity to explore various critical sections of the facility, including the DM Plant, Coal Yard, Bunker, Ash Hopper, Chimney, Main unit (195 MW), Economiser, ESP, Cooling Tower, Boiler, Steam Turbine, Generator, Step-up Transformer, and the Digitalized ECR.
I got to see a lot of different machines up close during my training. There were pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, steam turbines, generators, economisers, cooling towers, fans(FD and ID), and conveyor belts. It was like putting together a big engineering puzzle, figuring out how each piece played a part in making power.
