• As a Lead Design Associate, I guided and coordinated all stages of research in the projects which includes designing research tools, conducting primary research & secondary research, data analysis and report writing along with implementation of design interventions of the grassroots level. With my association with Design Innovation Centre at Ambedkar University, New Delhi, the centre was involved to create socially, environmentally and sustainable services emerging from design thinking approach with continuous engagement with urban populace, in order to address contemporary problems of unsustainable urban development.

• Assisted Prof. Shahana Chattaraj in conducting a research project on internet-based transport services like Ola and Uber in New Delhi and London. The goal of the project was to better understand how these platforms impact drivers who work with them and the city’s transport system, and how the government regulates them. As part of this project, the research team conducted surveys of drivers in New Delhi and London to learn about their experiences driving for these companies, and their working conditions. The data gained from the surveys were to be used in research papers published in academic journals that would analyse these new transport services, and also make recommendations to improve conditions for drivers and citizens.

• I worked as a design researcher at Vihara Innovation Lab. The project that I worked for was Bihar Innovation Lab, first-of-its kind user-centered and systems design thinking led program led by Center for Knowledge Society in collaboration with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The lab's purpose was to propose a structured innovative approach in enhancing the quality, efficiency and experience of public health services in rural Bihar by the use of collaborative and user centered design techniques. Out of the four innovations proposed by the lab, I was actively involved in designing a more efficient and high quality Service Experience of Village Health and Nutrition Day so as to amp up the effectiveness and reach of VHND initiative. A major take back from my work in Bihar was that the only effective approach to innovation in the delivery of public services must be driven by understanding the local needs.

• Worked in post-production department in NGEN media services. NGEN Media Services is 50-50 joint venture with South Asian broadcaster New Delhi Television (NDTV) and Genpact. NGEN offers everything from routine media services like transcription to high-end customized post production solutions to media corporations across globe.
• The work required me to do content editing, content rearrangement, transcription, subtitling for one of the important clients of NGEN called SDI( Subtitling and Dubbing International, USA). Expertise gained while working were-: stronger grip on grammar, first pass quality check, providing high quality work on the same day required by the client and meeting deadlines.

• University College Dublin Volunteers Overseas (UCDVO) is a registered charity and UCD Society which provides opportunities for students, staff and alumni to volunteer in developing countries such as India, Haiti, Nicaragua,Tanzania and Uganda. Volunteers work on a variety of activities which include literacy support, construction of housing and schools, physiotherapy assistance, computer training, health education, and environmental projects. UCDVO works in partnership with NGOs in each of the host communities where volunteers are based, and it is through these collaborations that programmes are designed, implemented and evaluated.
