• Inclusion Economics India Centre (formerly EPoD India), based at IFMR/Krea University, works closely with Inclusion Economics at Yale University, to conduct data-driven research and engage with the policy community in India to inform and encourage evidence-backed dialogues on economic and social inclusion. Inclusion Economics is a policy-engaged research initiative that began operations as an independent research centre at IFMR in November 2020, as a continuation of the body of research and policy work previously called EPoD India.

• Working as a Research Consultant on a large-scale project by J-PAL (EPoD-IFMR).
• In partnership with the government of Madhya Pradesh (MP), State Bank of India (SBI) and Central Bank of India (CBI), we are studying how providing rural women with individual bank accounts linked to MGNREGS workfare payments can strengthen the impact of the government’s ambitious financial inclusion program- on the lines of women's workforce participation, bargaining power and intra-household dynamics.
• Responsibilities include:
• Assist with survey design, translation, and refinement
• Oversee day-to-day running of the project
• Supervise data collection in SurveyCTO
• Brainstorm solutions to logistical and design problems that arise
• Field visits, conduct pilot interviews and monitor field teams
• Assist with data cleaning and preliminary data analysis
• Assist in preparation of report and presentation documents
• Report to the PI on all activities

• Worked on their pilot project titled ‘Empowering Adolescents’, which aims to empower 4 Lakh adolescents in 7 districts of Uttar Pradesh by 2020. Worked with big datasets and national surveys to explore the situation of adolescents in India and in UP and helped shortlist baseline indicators for the project with the M&E partner, interacted with various stakeholders during the field-visit to UP and conducted gap-analysis of on-ground partners of the UP pilot.
