Lyn Chen — Co-Founder
Hey! I'm Lyn Chen, an entrepreneur-educator building the future of learning in a post-AI world. I'm in pursuit of being a renaissance woman who cracks codes for young people and women across technical, high growth industries. Over the last decade, I've helped thousands of students develop entrepreneurial life skills and created a serendipity engine that changes life trajectories. In other words, building real-world curriculum and teaching young people to engineer their own luck. At 17, I gave my first lecture in a marketing MBA program as a teen food science entrepreneur + marketing consultant. In my early 20s, I became the youngest Forbes30u30 in my category, joined the Thiel Fellowship, and started a YCombinator-backed Developer Tooling company (sold). In my mid 20s I became one of the youngest director of TKS Toronto, where I developed and prepared talented young people. Today, I run Cansbridge Scholars, a community and program for ambitious 18-25 year olds learning what schools don't teach. My mission: In my lifetime, I'd love to transform education and empower 50 million young people to build extraordinary lives through interdisciplinary learning, community, and entrepreneurship. I hope to be your modern day Maria Montessori x Charlie Munger who teaches how to engineer serendipity and learn the best skills for your trade of choice. What I do: → Company: I run an education innovation focused venture studio. Our first project is Cansbridge Scholars with 3 cohorts per year teaching entrepreneurial life skills. → Contract L&D, curriculum design, workshops: I love making lessons fun through embedded storytelling, engaging speakers, and more that not only elevate brands but elevate minds. → I’m writing my first solo book: on human development, how to lead your life in a post AI world. → What I post about: the experience of company building, practical tips for interdisciplinary learners, writing, what I’m reading, and the future of education. → Some quirky things about me: I like to learn a new sport a year (dance this year, running last year), and I'm really into teaching my pets how to talk using buttons. If you'd like to support my work, mission, or would like to connect with where you learn best: → Please subscribe to my newsletter + future book launches, Silk & Steel: https://lynchen.substack.com/ → Connect with me on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/itslynchen→ Join me on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/@itslynchen
