• Software Engineer on Data Ubiquity (DU), a backend engineering team dedicated to exposing Yelp data and consumer features to external users and B2C partners. While on DU, I worked on enhancing Yelp Fusion (Yelp's public API, which serves > 10 million requests a day) and building the Partner Reservation API, which enables other companies to search, book, and manage Yelp Reservations from outside the core Yelp Reservations experience.
• Software Engineer on Partnerships, a backend engineering team dedicated to executing the technical requirements of contractual agreements Yelp has with its data partners. Most notably, I worked on Yelp's initial integration with partner company Nowait by building a waittime ingestion polling system that fetched real-time restaurant waittimes from the partner for displaying in Yelp app. Successful launch led to acquisition of Nowait (now Yelp Waitlist), now used by millions of consumers.
