  • As a VFX Editor my main responsibility is to manage and edit data for visual effects (VFX) projects. Creating conforming vfx edit timeline to check the plates length are matching correctly with the edit reference and matching retime, resize, repo and color with edit references.This involves working closely with VFX artists, producers, supervisors, and TDs to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Additionally, I am responsible for ensuring that all data ingested on the platform and Shotgun is up-to-date with all the necessary information. Moreover, I am creating delivery templates in Nuke and publishing them on Shotgun within the delivery pipeline, meeting the specific requirements of our clients.
  • Furthermore, as part of my role, I ensure that version zeros are sent out to clients as soon as a project is awarded. This helps to establish clear communication with clients from the outset and provides a solid foundation for the project moving forward.
  • Another critical aspect of my role is conducting color quality control (QC) for the VFX final shots before delivery. This ensures that the final shots are of the highest quality and meet the clients' specifications before they are delivered through various upload tools.
