As a Cloud Engineer at Google, my day-to-day work is focused on creating exceptional experiences for Google Cloud customers. I achieve this by collaborating with them to design and implement a range of solutions, including closely working with clients to architect and build robust and scalable infrastructures tailored to their specific application needs. This includes setting up scalable network architectures, GKE clusters, databases and serverless platforms. I also enable efficient and automated software delivery processes by creating CI/CD pipelines for both Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerized workloads. This also includes CD using GitOps methodologies using tools like ArgoCD, Helm, Github etc.. My goal is to ensure that customers can seamlessly leverage the power of Google Cloud to achieve their business objectives. Previously I worked with MontyCloud as a Cloud Architect. I was responsible for architecting workloads to run in Cloud by keeping scalability, availability and security in mind, migrate existing workloads to AWS, optimize customers cloud footprint to save cost, automate everything possible. I was also responsible for architecting/creating Blueprints for DAY2 platform in order for customers to provision their infrastructure in a self-service way. I was also involved in Product Management as well as Customer Success. I have worked on Kubernetes and related technologies like Service Mesh. I was responsible for setting up and managing Kubernetes Clusters, deploying apps to the cluster using CI/CD pipelines, securing the Kubernetes Cluster as well as the application deployed on top of it. My role also included automation of tasks in Cloud and to reduce manual errors. I have experience in setting up Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and Terraform, building automation workflows using Lambda and other services to automate routine tasks, Securing AWS environments from potential security vulnerabilities, creating and setting up IAM roles for teams etc. I am a self-learner who likes to explore everything which is there in Cloud and it's related technologies. Every day I try to become a better version of myself by improving my life, knowledge or anything which I can find. When I’m not on the job, I love traveling to new places on my Royal Enfield Himalayan, Learning new things, Meeting new people and Read books related to investing, self-improvement.
