As a team leader and individual contributor, I am responsible for system integration, enablement and bringing up network-accelerating Ethernet controllers throughout the entire silicon development cycle. This includes both pre-SI and post-SI phases, from analyzing product requirements to launching the product. The Ethernet controllers are marketed as standalone networking controllers, in addition to being developed as foundational NICs. Moreover, Intel's IPU devices also make use of its networking and management intellectual property.
In the pre-SI stage, my role involves collaborating with the architecture team, working with emulation build models at various pre-SI checkpoints, integrating the soft components, conducting extensive debugging with the design and emulation teams and providing the necessary enabled collaterals to the SI validation team for volume validation.
During the post-SI phase, my responsibilities include bringing up the various SKUs of SI and different networking topologies, integrating additional soft components, enabling hardware IPs that were not part of the pre-SI stage and delivering the enabled collaterals to the SI validation team for volume validation.
