About

With a strong foundation in mathematics from Virginia Tech, I’ve built a career at the intersection of software development, data engineering, and machine learning operations. My professional journey began as a software developer for a small company, followed by managing a team of SQL developers at a financial services firm, where I honed my skills in delivering data for analytics and science-driven insights. For the past 12 years, I’ve been privileged to be part of Netflix, contributing to its innovative data science and engineering ecosystem. I started as a data engineer, focusing on landing data in the data warehouse for Content Financing and Studio Operations. Leveraging my software background, I built tools to fill critical gaps, providing technical solutions to support stakeholders where resources were limited. As my team evolved, a few of us built the first version of Netflix's Global Content Index, enabling Finance and Creative teams to access comprehensive data and metrics on content worldwide. As that product matured and a new team was formed to support it, I transitioned to supporting the Content Demand Modeling team, where I deepened my expertise in machine learning operations (ML Ops) and identified opportunities to streamline workflows and improve user experiences. Most recently, I spearheaded the conceptualization and development of **Metaboost**, an integration tool designed to unify disparate platforms at Netflix. Metaboost simplifies the lifecycle of ML projects—lowering the barrier to entry and enabling ML teams to start, develop, deploy, and manage projects with greater ease. My daily goal is clear: to empower ML teams at Netflix to work faster, smarter, and at scale, so they can tackle increasingly diverse and complex challenges—and sleep easier at night. With a passion for building systems and tools that bridge gaps and drive efficiency, I thrive in creating solutions that elevate both technology and the people who use it.
