• I lead a team that is reimagining the space of enterprise communication with three fundamental pillars: app-to-app (event bus), human-to-human (collaboration & commenting), and app-to-human (notifications) & human-to-app (activity logging).
• My team builds platform leverages to greatly simplify the way how our Content and Studio engineering teams can enable these three types of communications to drive key workflows and make day-to-day decisions in the pitch to play lifecycle.
• I've grown the team by doubling its size since I joined two years ago. I enjoy growing and empowering my team members so that they can sharpen their skills and expand their scope, and so that the whole team can take more responsibilities and make more impact to the business.

• + Lead a squad of four engineers working on a data streaming platform to reduce the cost for Studio product teams to ship real-time data as data products for their data partners, powering use cases including studio operation analysis, machine learning models and day-to-day Studio business decisions.
• + Drive an initiative of domain data pod to reshape the operating model between Studio engineers and data engineers, adopting the principles of Data Mesh (https://martinfowler.com/articles/data-monolith-to-mesh.html) to standardize the produce and consumption of data at Netflix.

• + Designed and implemented Netflix Data Mesh platform, a universal data transport mesh that enables moving data from any source-of-truth data store to any sink data store in a bus architecture at Netflix scale.
• + Collaborating with two other platform teams to influence and shape the architecture of the Netflix Data Mesh platform.
• + Onboarded Netflix Studio’s Operational Reporting as the first production-ready use case on Netflix Data Mesh platform.
• + Built two generic real-time data processors, union and GraphQL enrichment processors, for the platform to enable the Operational Reporting business use case.
• + Implemented data processor SDK and runtime frameworks to enable software engineers to build custom processors on Netflix Data Mesh platform.
• + Designed and implemented the Delta platform: a data synchronization and enrichment platform built for Studio engineering teams to synchronize data across multiple datastores. It has been evolved into the Netflix Data Mesh platform described above.
