• Being a part of Ads and Monetisation team, I was building the Ads infrastructure, specifically focusing on Facebook and Instagram Shops.
• Architected and developed product filtering features in Shops. Designed backend and frontend for Price Range based filters to improve conversion. This resulted in a significant improvement of Shops GMV.
• As part of a larger initiative of bringing Shop Ads traffic to Collections surface, I designed, architected and developed Product categories in Shop Collections. Leveraging Meta's ML based categorisation of Products, I incubated categories under Collections Surface, which resulted in one of the highest improvements to Shops ROAS in 2023. I followed this by bringing an onsite shop's All Products to Collections Surface, which is under experimentation.
• Architected and developed the feature of Seller Funded Incentives in Shops. These features helped in improving key business metrics.
• Roadmapped Quarterly/ Half yearly features for the team and involved in directional impact.
• Led junior developers in projects and mentored them in small to medium projects.

• Headed the Engineering team and Technology under an independent unit called Kotak Neo. This unit was handpicked for rebuilding the entire trading experience from scratch, using new age technologies and modern Engineering practices.
• Built and scaled the Bangalore unit for Kotak Neo. This involved hiring and setting up distributed teams across Mumbai and Bangalore.
• Involved in Business decisions, working closely with Joint Director and MD of Kotak securities. This involved the Beta and final releases of Kotak Neo Trading App.
• Hired and led a team of 20, which involved Managers, Developers, Architects and Quality Assurance Engineers. inhouse and external vendors. Actively promoted and improved the practice of agile development.
• Managed the vendor Thoughtworks and their team of 50 Software Engineers, Architects, Managers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Engineers. This involved budgeting, roadmap, program management and transition planning.
• Built a low latency, highly concurrent Stock Broking App in Flutter and backend in Go Lang. Involved in breaking a monolith and architecting the Broking backend with microservices. Designed and implemented a scalable infrastructure with Kubernetes and Terraform. Designed Backend storage with Redis & Document DB. Worked closely with Architects from Thoughtworks in bringing world class technology to Kotak's Technical stack.
• Built an inhouse team and was tasked with setting the right Engineering process, Software engineering practice and set the structure of the Engineering team. Hired mobile, frontend, Backend, frontend, DevOps, SRE Engineers, along with Engineering Managers and set up an Org that would be responsible to take Neo forward.

• Been instrumental in scaling the mobile product in terms of technology and better user experience. SignEasy was among the highest downloaded App on the App Store and the Play Store. (6 million downloads and increasing).

• Built an in-house chatOps tool Alfred to create a Development/QA environment with complete infrastructure sandbox capability for every developer/QA engineer. This helped in scaling Engineering releases and improving productivity.I moved the entire infrastructure to Kubernetes on AWS.This increased release velocity of shipping 1 feature in a month to more than 10 features in a month. Introduced Datadog for end to end tracing and Infrastructure monitoring.
