• Became a Security Certifier at Amazon by certifying a Red application. Security Certifiers help keep customer data at Amazon secure by making sure applications follow industry standards of security. Worked on security certification of Amazon Funded Promotions(AFP) platform. Implemented changes for protecting the AFP platform against CSRF attacks during the security certification.
• Designed and developed authorisation and approval system of the AFP platform to a more scalable and self service platform used by 60+ clients. This reduced each client onboarding by at least 2-3 weeks and converted most common client requests into a self service model leading to a better customer experience.
• Designed the decoupling of an accounting service from seller payables pipeline which saves 4+ weeks of effort for any new marketplace launches. Also modelled the monolith accounting service to a workflow based model which will make it easier to understand business logic of the service and help in debugging.
• Designed a shadow testing framework for validating new launches and migrations in PayStation Service which is the one stop payment solution for all Amazon subsidiaries. Designed and implemented changes in the Reusable Credit Line(RCL) payment method in order to display customer's credit account balance in the checkout flow and block the payment method in case of insufficient balance use cases. This will reduce order declines for 6% of the total orders made through the RCL payment method.
• Designed and implemented Prequalification, an upfunnel tool that enables consumers to understand their creditworthiness and purchasing power before they are at the end of their shopping journey. Launched this feature with Affirm with +$700MM annual GMS(+10% increase) with +30% increase in average order value on Amazon.
• Launched a new instalments payment method in Spain with Santander on Amazon. This enables customers to apply for loans to pay for their Amazon purchases via instalments.

• Migrated the web app used for creating Amazon Funded Promotions(AFP) to a newer and faster web UI using ReactJS. This platform is used by 60+ business clients to strategically create and manage promotions which provide discounts and benefits on the Amazon retail marketplace. This project reduced AFP website load times from 10s of seconds to within a couple of seconds leading to a significantly better UX. This also reduced time to develop new changes on the UI by introducing fast refresh to test changes within a few seconds from 10-15 mins in the older architecture.
• Collaborated across global stakeholder teams (business, engineering, accounting, tax) to enable accounting for launching Unified Delivery Services and Product Attached Services across multiple NA and EU marketplaces.
• Designed and integrated product and service revenue accounting services with a reconciliation framework to verify integrity of financial records in the Amazon sub ledger and flag transactions which were processed but did not reach the accounting books to automate accounting.
• Designed and implemented an automation framework for payment of ad-hoc charges to Amazon service providers which can be scaled on various appointment level events for a service order.
