Why do so many brilliant data projects fail to make an impact? I've seen it happen time and again: the technical team has a perfect model, but the business team doesn't see the value. They're speaking completely different languages. My career has been built on becoming the translator. I've been in the trenches as an AI/ML Engineer and Data Analyst, so I speak "Python" and "SQL" fluently. I love digging into the data and building the models. But I also know that a model is just a number until it solves a real-world business problem. That's the "bridge" I manage every day in my current role. It allows me to lead cross-functional programs where I can not only truly understand the technical challenges but also help define the right business questions and KPIs from the start. My job is to translate complex data into a clear, compelling story that everyone understands. That "dual-lens" approach is how my work has contributed to 80% efficiency gains—we're not just building things, we're building the right things.
