  • Under my leadership along with a team of 5 engineers. I successfully delivered porting of AI/ML TensorFlow/Caffe/PyTorch Image classification models to client’s custom inference framework. I played a strategic role of delivery management, project management and technical mentor to the team. I had led the team by example by porting couple of models with right quality. I debugged critical issues occurred during porting, related to memory, matrix to linear array conversion, post processing library functions as needed by framework. I learnt the skills of advanced C++ lambda functions, OpenCV APIs as needed for the project.
  • I worked on ADAS platform for one of the automotive tier-1 clients. I am responsible for developing system test strategies for direct sensor fusion, indirect sensor fusion scenarios and performance measurements. I worked on board bring up of the main CPU. I developed automated tool using python to flash the binaries that are generated using Yocto build system. I am knowledgeable in automotive safety architecture of different MCU used in that system like lockstep CPU, ECC and EDC on memory components.
  • I architected, created, and managed a team of 5 engineers to develop a test automation platform to validate CPEs and routers products of a leading manufacturer. I had collected the high-level requirements from client and detailed it at micro level features. Leveraged docker containers and virtual box to imitate virtual platforms. The requirements are meticulously planned considering the priorities as concluded with the client. I had involved in code debugging during development stage to fix issues related to concurrency using threads.
  • I had worked for a client who needs development of software and firmware for their IoT hardware based on radar sensor IWR6843 and ESP32 Wi-Fi module. The solution is developed to calculate the no of people, distance, velocity, and angle information. SDK from both TI and ESP32 are leveraged to prove the solution.

  • Preparation of next generation infotainment chip with total quality and less time were the challenges before our team. On the top of this it is ROM code, this will even make the challenge tougher. Pre-silicon verification plays a very critical role, as any issue that gets undetected during pre-silicon verification pose lot of overhead in costs and efforts. Being a V & V lead, the test strategies, test scenario definitions, test environment decisions, test execution strategy for releases, bringing in automation all these tasks are taken care meticulously. This helped my team to deliver all ROM release on time. Post Silicon bring up was very smooth. While these challenges had become a norm, I personally raised the bar by bringing in latest automation methodologies and tools into the team by learning from other teams and fine tuning to our teams needs. Introduced Jenkins, LabVIEW, python automation scripts, internal test utilities from other teams etc. These improvements helped in taking care of overall test reporting, traceability, test environment automation, test execution and faster time to release. This helped the team to leave the traditional outdated tools and move to latest test methodologies making us inline with organizational goal of stronger and smarter V&V to get best quality deliverable.

  • A mobile phone based out of Linux based Operating system called Tizen is the target product planned to be launched. Along with working on in house Exynos chipset, I had also taken ownership of driving base camps in vendor sites to bring up multimedia stack on MSM8974, MSM 8x30 and MSM 7x27A chipsets. Handling of once issues posed a big challenge as reproducibility of such issues was real challenge, I closely worked and brainstormed on such issues with my team by understanding the logs presented and performing code walk throughs to crack the cause of once issues.
