• Overview:
• Project is mainly focused on enhancing the quality of voice with less memory and high processing speed. It considers developing on ARM cortex A9 (64-bit) and Conexant processor (32-bit).
• Contribution:
• Optimized code using Floating to fixed point and Q format conversations.
• Understanding architectural behaviour of ARM and Conexant DSP processor.
• Integrated whole code (fixed point, assembly) to make final module.
• Understanding the business process flow and the interfaces in the system.
• Project #2: Android STB
• Overview:
• The aim of project is development of Android STB platform to providing Smart TV features using android on set top box.
• This project development includes Media player customization, android application development and companion application.
• Contribution:
• Understanding and designing of OMX Codec for libstagefright architecture.
• Developed and Customized OMX components for media player.
• Android audio HAL linkup with audio flinger.
• Project #3: Thin Client IPSTB
• Overview:
• To develop thin client IPSTB based on Samsung RDK software platform and IPTV middleware and server as per OIPF specifications.
• This project development includes HTML5 based UI/UX as per snow cone 1.5 specifications, RDK based IP STB platform, Multicast & unicast, VOD service(RTSP) and live(RTP) using gstreamer plugins and IPTV Middleware.
• Contribution:
• Development 0f IPTV Middleware (DAE APIs) as per OIPF specifications using QT API's and C++.
• Understanding of gstreamer and its plugins. Development and customization gstreamer media player.
• Integration and customization of open source webkit browser into RDK stack.
• Customization code to support 2 different chipsets 7428 and 7250.

• TWC Automation tool for STB
• Overview:
• Time Warner cable (TWC) is a telecom service provider in the United States. This project is aimed to develop an automation tool software which enables and automate whole functionality test of STB.
• Here we worked on ODN, MDN for different OEM. This project involved every aspect of STB, OCR verification, channel tuning, various banner verifications, recording, purchasing on-demand, PPV, Verifying data base from head-end and verify on showlist, access menu and guide screen.
• Contribution:
• Learnt and gathered information of different STB specifications.
• Developed different scripts for different modules of STB automation process.
• Developed Common code (whole libraries) to use in different modules.
• Regularly attended client meetings for scope clarifications.
• Coordinate with testing team to help and solve technical issue.
