About

I believe great stories leave us feeling both well fed and hungry for more. They leave us feeling more connected with the world around us, smarter, and energized to share what we just saw. I also believe the process of telling stories should do all of the same things. I’m always hungry to collaborate with others who feel the same way. I am a creative executive with experience working for major studios, production companies, and financiers. I enjoy blending development and current programming, working with filmmakers from idea through launch whenever possible. Films and series I have worked on have won numerous awards, including Emmy (11 wins and 32 nominations), BAFTA, Royal Television Society, Jackson Wild, Critic's Choice, Wildscreen, and others. I’m a generalist with an emphasis on story structure and genre expertise in wildlife, science, tech/politico, history, and docudramas. I’m also comfortable with budgeting, camera and post technologies and VFX workflows. As a filmmaker, I’m experienced in writing, directing, producing, development, and camerawork. I have developed and produced award-winning documentary series, feature docs, and one-off specials for multiple global networks including National Geographic, Discovery, Netflix, History, ZDF, France Television, ID, MSNBC, TLC, and PBS. As a viewer, I love comedy.
