I am a software engineer with around 4 years of experience in backend development. I have worked with VMware Cloud as a Backend Engineer contributing to Vulnerability Triaging System. Prior to this, I interned and worked full time with Amazon for around 2 years building and scaling multiple microservices in AWS infrastructure. During my Software Engineering career, I have worked with multiple programming languages, libraries, frameworks and technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, StackStorm, DynamoDB, MongoDB, AWS Lambda, Amazon CloudWatch, VPC, IAM, S3, SQS, TypeScript, React, Redux, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress and Playwright. I am proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS Lambda. Although my experience and projects have mostly been backend focussed I have decent exposure to frontend technologies like React and Redux. I am always open to learn new technologies and deliver when the need arises be it any frontend tech as well. As of now, I am learning Golang and Distributed Systems concepts.

As a part of the platform team so far I have worked majorly on the following two services:
1. Fleet Execution service [Used for running scripts across the fleet of SDDCs] - Controlling the blast radius of fleet wide script executions by adding a new feature that allows regional rollout i.e. parallel executions in only one AWS region at a time.
2. Scan & Patch service [A framework used for detection and remediation of vulnerabilities across the SDDC fleet] - Integrated the scan patch service with the Autoscaler service which looks up vulnerabilities in the newly provisioned ESX hosts and patches them on demand before registering with the VCenter.
