I spend most of my time in conversations with security and technology leaders at banks, fintechs, and exchanges across the UAE and GCC. Across most of these institutions, there’s a consistent blind spot. Most of these institutions have invested heavily in security tools. They've checked the compliance boxes. They have policies, frameworks, certifications on the wall. But when any of the following actually goes wrong there's a gap between what's documented and what's operational: A credential getting compromised at 2am An auditor asking for 90 days of access review logs Regulator changing the evidence requirements That gap is where the real risk surfaces. I work at EnCyb / ValueMentor. We've been operating in this region for over a decade, DESC-certified, CREST-registered, PCI QSA, working with banks, fintechs, exchanges, and digital wallets across the region. My job isn't to pitch. It's to understand what security leaders are actually dealing with and figure out whether we can help. Our SOC runs 24/7 with a 22-member detection and engineering team. We deliver MDR, MXDR, and bespoke managed security built on Elastic SIEM and SentinelOne, with all UAE client data stored in the AWS UAE region.
My focus is enterprise engagement. I work with Security Leaders to understand where gaps exist between what is implemented and what actually holds up when tested, and connect them with the right expertise across SOC, MDR, VAPT, and cloud security to close those gaps.
