I am a Ph.D. researcher and teaching assistant at IIT Indore, specializing in language attitudes, language hegemony, language shift, and the dynamics of the medium of instruction in multilingual contexts. My research has been published in reputed journals such as the Journal of Language, Identity & Education and Humanities and Social Science Communications. My work has also been recognized with awards such as the Best Paper Presentation Award in the Research Scholars Category at the 17th International & 53rd Annual Conference of ELTAI. Previously, I worked as a sociolinguistics research intern at IIT Madras and spent two years as an English instructor at a language academy in India. I have a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the English and Foreign Languages University, and my academic excellence during my Bachelor's program was recognized with the departmental gold medal.
