• Led initiatives to proactively cut down production issues faced by database engineering teams.
• Designed & built native support in mysql server so it can self-resolve replication lags due to increased write workloads by penalizing bad tenants.
• Partnered with production engineering team, data caching and database customers to design staged rollout plan that provided early signals to potentially impacted customers and successfully deployed it in production.
• As Meta scales, we are investing heavily in multi-tenant infrastructure. Currently, leading the resource governance initiative which aims to provide resource usage guarantees and fairness to database workloads running in shared environments. Directly interfacing with core customers to collect feedback & iterate on design.

• Area lead for 0-1 bet by Facebook to build a marketplace to make it easy for brands and content creators to collaborate on sponsored content. Brand Collabs Manager was announced at Vidcon 2018.
• Tech led a team of 11 engineers, interfaced closely with X-functional product partners. Worked with PMM and sales leads on GTM plan and a successful launch.
• Bootstrapped the marketplace to auto onboard content creators and advertisers that were already publishing sponsored content on FB and IG to fuel the marketplace after its launch.

• Team tech lead for the new monetization and analytics platform for publishers. Responsible for X-functional collaboration between Ads, publisher-brand safety and monetization product teams.
• Built the infrastructure to enable publishers to set price targets for each ad placement.
• Drove consensus with Facebook ads and business manager teams to agree on a publisher monetization data model to simplify management of ad placements while ensuring efficient ads delivery, reporting and payouts.

• Consolidation of user experience for publishers using Facebook audience network and those that were acquired as part of LiveRail acquisition.

• Performance optimization of Facebook Ads manager to make product navigation seamless. Worked with the design team to update navigation flows. Built a hybrid of data bootstrapping & pre-loading of UI components to reduce the perceived latency.

• Worked on aerospace applications. Research team was using a RTEMS platform for their hardware. Built prototypes to prove feasibility of transition to platform built using L4-Fiasco microkernel.
