Kartik Audhkhasi — AI Researcher

I am currently a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Meta Superintelligence Labs. My research interests include automatic speech recognition (ASR), conversational systems, neural networks, and machine learning. Previously, I was a Senior Staff Research Scientist/Manager in the Speech Group at Google DeepMind. Our team was focussed on improving the ASR and speech understanding quality of Gemini and conventional ASR systems for a large set of languages. Prior to that, I was a Research Staff Member in the Speech Group at IBM Research AI. At IBM, my research focused on end-to-end/all-neural (E2E) speech recognition and processing. I also worked on other aspects of automatic speech recognition such as language modeling, distributed semantic word embeddings, and keyword search from speech. I also worked extensively on the IARPA Babel program for speech recognition and keyword search for low-resource languages.
