Hello My name is Drew Bridewell. Host of Next Level UX. Head of Product and Design at GrowthDay. I'm currently the founder of Next Level UX a coaching and development platform for UX Strivers. I look forward to meeting you. About Next Level UX: We've built and designed 3 core experiences for the program. 1. Mapping to Learn - A creative and systematic way of understanding complexity in product development. I'd recommend knocking this out 4 weeks (Pairing available with Action Planning) 2. Action Planning - A integrated and formula-based program to help you action plan in your life. It will help you with getting clarity on what matters most to you so you can achieve another level of performance and demonstrate role model behaviors. With Action planning, you'll also create goals, get motivated, and hit your milestones with joy. This is going to be an exciting 3 months and I'm pumped to get a chance to coach you. 3. Career Coaching and Development - Applying 12 highly impactful career focus areas for a 12-week program that accelerates your mission to get to your next level in a career in product design, engineering, and Product Management. More history Each company I've worked for has been a blessing. I have worked with so many spectacular people in my career and I'm excited to continue expanding that with my new path to building out these programs and building products and experiences that help people grow and develop while loving every minute of it. Career Milestones: Next Level UX, Facebook, HPXStudent, InVision, LinkedIn, Lynda.com, Qwikcart, Crosscap, NIC, Egov.com, Profitstreams, The Magellen Network, Los Alamos County, SCAD and many more. Lets share, learn, and grow. #together I also partner with LinkedIn and Lynda.com where I host my original series Practical UX Weekly. Where I teach practical UX best practices that can help support designers at every stage of their career through sharing everything I've experienced as a working product design lead. Previously, I was a Senior Design Specialist at InVision where my primary focus was to work as a strategic partner to InVision's customers to help elevate and empower design teams, and organizations of the power of design through mentoring, consulting, deep dive workshops, and talks.

Nov 2017Mar 2019 · 1 yr 4 mos · San Francisco Bay Area

  • My primary goal was to work as a strategic partner to InVisions largest accounts. As a strategic partner I dedicated time and resources to study design system trends, conduct masterclass workshops on team building, design systems, collaboration, design thinking, interaction design practices, project kickoffs, and responsive design.
  • In this role, I also collaborated with product management, training, support, design, research, marketing, design education, sales and customer success managers as our team partners in different capacities. Each consisting of insight sharing and evaluations.
  • I also required to stay fresh in my design craft so I prototyped, designed daily, and practiced to stay relevant using tools like DSM, Studio, Illustrator, and Procreate. I frequently try new tools, and love to master them.

Workshop facilitator(You've only got two eyeballs: Designing products for the responsive web)

May 2016May 2016 · 0 mo · Atlanta, Georgia

  • You've only got two eyeballs: Designing products for the responsive web
  • Description:
  • People expect to access and use the products that they love everywhere that they go. With an ever-increasing number of different smartphones, tablets, computers, wearables, and televisions that allow us to view websites, this makes our jobs as interactive designers even more challenging.
  • Are you helping them focus on what they really need to get done, on the devices where they need that functionality the most?
  • In this workshop led by David Sherwin and Drew Bridewell from LinkedIn, we’ll teach you techniques that will help you and your teams:
  • Prioritize what product features will have the most value for your users across smartphone, tablet, desktop, TV, wearables, and other devices—so you’re investing your time and energy into the right features in the right places
  • Validate your product assumptions and hypotheses through paper and digital prototypes, so you can start building those features intelligently
  • Plan the implementation of your product features for development in a modular, componentized manner that makes them easier to test and scale
  • Along with workshop activities rooted in the above techniques, we’ll share how we used similar approaches in a redesign of the learning experience of Lynda.com as a responsive product.
