• Architected and built Amazon MX Player from scratch. Led Zero to One efforts to develop free ad supported video streaming service inside Amazon shopping app.
• Prior years I was responsible for architecting multiple large scale systems from scratch, getting it developed and delivered with highest operational quality along with other engineers.
• Amazon MX Player - Free video streaming service
• First engineer hired for Amazon MX Player. Designed architecture for frontend and backend to build video streaming product from scratch on top of Prime Video playback capability.
• Designed and developed GraphQL backend service for powering Amazon MX Player frontend app and catalog.
• Lead new to Amazon engineers to get onboarded quickly and deliver a service on time. Set a high bar for quality, building for scale without high operational overhead.
• Amazon MX Player - Video playback.
• Built a event driven architecture for video content ingestion, encoding, quality check and delivery of video for Amazon MX Player.
• Built video encoding pipeline using AWS MediaConvert to encode video for DASH and HLS.
• Amazon Ads Moderations
• Built a scalable datastore on top of Amazon DynamoDb for ads moderation programs. This is a multi-tenant datastore used for storing moderation data for all Amazon ads programs - Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Stores. System is able to scale to keep up with the fastest growing business in Amazon. Amazon Ads growing at 50-60% YoY.
• Built a realtime system for feedback while ads creation to be compliant with amazon ads policies at Amazon Ads scale.
• Amazon Native Shopping Ads
• Built experimental ad format(Concept Ads) for Native Shopping Ads product. Defined MVP to validate new ad format. Owned design, development and product management of Concept Ads.
• Integrated Native Shopping Ads as demand side on 3rd party supply-side platform through Amazon Ads Exchange(AAX) using OpenRTB 2.3

• Only engineer working on launching new domain names (e.g .club, .tech, .shop, .app, .xyz etc) on Directi's registrar/reseller platform. As a process worked on automating common workflows of launching any new domains on the platform.
• Work involved integrating with different ICANN domain name registries, normalise domain name operations (search a availability of domain name, buy a domain name, renew a domain name, secure transfer of a domain name) on platform abstracting registry specific protocols. Registry connections and messaging was over TCP with SSL using XML protocols. Platform was written in Java, Java Servlet using PostgreSQL.

• Built low latency market access platform for high frequency trading (HFT)
• Originally known as SR Labs. It was startup in market data and market access domain. Part of team of 3 engineers who owned tech for market access platform supporting all major stock exchanges across the globe.
• Wrote low latency stock exchange connectivity platform in C++. Platform was used by all major investment banks to build HFT trading applications on top of it.
