• I was accountable for 99.5% uptime for the very first UEBA Cloud service in the world. I was leading the Securonix Cloud product as a technology leader driving the design, architecture and operations for this service. Securonix cloud was a unique cloud solution, hosting multi-tenant security analytics solution using Big Data (Hadoop), ingesting multi-terabyte of data.
• Designed, implemented and operationalised the multi-tenant Securonix Cloud environment on AWS. This was done in collaboration with the CTO and Chief Architect of the company.
• Designed an environment specifically to host a very large banking customer. This involved a lot of consideration in relation to Data encryption, Network security, Application level security, Hadoop level security, securing data in transit, audits, etc.
• Designed a unique SOLR scalability solution giving the product the capability to scale to any extent with improved performance.
• Worked on consolidation, simplification and cost control projects to make the business more profitable.
• Responsible for bootstrapping the 24x7 operations team for support along with AWS and Hadoop teams for global support.

• Securonix is a Security Analytics product company specializing in User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA). I am responsible for testing of various technologies/solutions and setting architecture standards for customer deployments on Hadoop platform (Cloudera and Hortonworks). I am also responsible for designing the complex deployment architecture for all Securonix customers globally.
• Designated as Hadoop Architect for Top largest customers.
• Called in as a problem solver in Hadoop Technologies in case of any advanced issues or to handle escalated situations with customers.
• Performed a thorough assessment of over 40+ customer environments, identified gaps and delivered recommendations to stabilize/mature the infrastructure/application implementations. Through this process, secured some major customers for Securonix leading to over $2-$3MM revenue.

• I was responsible for the design, implementation and operations of the Security Monitoring Technologies (Splunk, Securonix) that provides Advanced User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) capabilities to monitor 65K users, 16K servers across 20+ business units globally.
• Designed, Architected and implemented the Enterprise Infrastructure (19 servers, 24TB log ingestion per month, 50 data feeds and 100+ Jobs per day) for Securonix (An Insider Threat User Entity Behavior Analytics tool). This solution allowed GE Capital to detect unknown threats, high risk users/activities and perform faster investigations using risk based alerts.
• Implemented all HPA, DLP policies (for global Capital) and Access Management for (50+ applications) by working with Securonix and GE development team.
• Responsible for the Infrastructure operations, uptime, upgrades, enhancements, performance and scalability. The RTS cost for this infrastructure was ~$500K /yr.
• Automated the Security operations process through Securonix implementation, delivering productivity benefit equivalent to 12 resources per year.
• Hired, trained and managed the Engineering team supporting the Splunk and Securonix solutions.
• Designed, Architected, implemented the Sailpoint (IDM) Enterprise Infra (21 servers) for GE Capital RTS for Infra support is approximately $250k/Per year.
