• 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞: Designed and developed a generic execution engine to manage concurrent execution of multiple interactive tasks spread over various cloud components: vms, docker containers, switches, computing and storage devices using Paramiko module (SSHv2 protocol) and multi-threading.
• 𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔: Implemented features for managing order of execution of tasks, degree of concurrency, SSH connection caching, password management and interaction between user and tasks.
• 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒙 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔: Introduced task load-balancing, dynamic switching of tasks between hosts on failure, abort host/ run on critical task failure.
• 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐌𝐠𝐫: Created procedures to collect evidences from compute nodes, network switches, ILOMs, docker and VM-hosted services at customer data center back to Oracle using execution engine as back-end tool.
• 𝐋𝐨𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Introduced callback mechanism to support content, size and time based filtering during log collection significantly reducing the issue detection and remediation time.
• 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐦: Created procedures to perform VM host-migration, start and shutdown for a group of VMs leveraging Nimbula. Implemented procedures to install, patch, backup and monitor cloud services.
• 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤: Created an automation framework based on Loom, which was used by other developers to run scripts/commands on Oracle Private cloud.
• 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Trained team-members, conducted code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions.
