Prianshu Parashar — Software Engineer

Hi! This is Prianshu Parashar. Before I continue summarizing ‘about’ me. What if I say that we are just formless consciousness packed with collected thoughts, emotions, opinions, and whatnot into short-lived phenomenon called life? Sounds strange or true (maybe)! During childhood, I was among those poor kids, that were bitten by the curiosity bug, who ended up screwing items after dissembling them. On the contrary, I luckily (or maybe not) managed to be the first ranker for my entire span of primary & middle schooling. Winning a Gold Medal in National Science Olympiad was something I use to brag about those days. Later I secured a 10 CGPA in my High School (that later worked as a Birth Proof as well). What started off as simple building of tables in HTML, or patterns in C++ (took IT as optional), grew into me becoming much more interested in programming in my college life. Back before the pandemic, in the university I was quite active within cultural societies and theatre, at campus and outside. I served as member and positions at the Council of Student Activities. I performed several acts and organized, led, and mentored in some on stage & street. Our team went on being the unbeaten champion for all these years. It was in 2020, I started learning to code in Java (which was as nice as C++ and C that I used to work in at school). Going through the many utilities of this language, I became interested in Android Development. That I started with Java itself and later moved up in Kotlin. Fun Fact: 😄 Oh, I just missed to mention, I have this huge liking for UI/UX and graphics designing that proved to be of great help in making layouts, etc. for my Android Projects as well. By now I understand Android Architecture, its components, their lifecycles, Android SDK, third party dependencies, networking. I’m familiar with MVVM, MVP, MVC architectures. I have worked on Broadcast Receivers and Services, Room persistence library for SQLite Database. Firebase is yet another thing that excites me. Along with the knowledge of troubleshooting, debugging I have successfully made few native applications using some algorithms such as the Minimax in Game Theory and implementing CRUD operations on them. With 400+ problems solved on Data Structures and Algorithms, I’m working to sharpen my skills further these times.
