About

Building top-tier design and creative teams to attack tough product and brand challenges. "Tech", Saas, Consumer Electronics, Automotive, CPG ... in that order. Filling vacuum for organisations that have emerged from siloed thinking, sporadic growth, scale, and knowledge and skill gaps. πŸ–₯οΈπŸ’½πŸ’ΏπŸ–±οΈπŸŽžοΈπŸ–ΌοΈπŸ₯ΎπŸ‘ŸπŸ₯ΌπŸŽšοΈπŸŽ›οΈπŸ”πŸ”¬πŸŽ₯πŸš—πŸŽοΈπŸοΈ The vision is to build top products and brands. India to the Globe! Non Zero Sum Games www.nonzero.space Early Career : Started as a newbie industrial designer and spent quite a bit of my time initially in an even more narrow sub-section of that niche, vehicular architecture and automotive exterior modelling. I almost fell prey to speciation until I explored what "Design" actually meant from various lenses. What it meant in different industries and different functions within an organisation. The adage "Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works." was fairly apparent early on. The problem here was that most design colleges (mine as well) were training students from the lens of a craftsperson. Don Norman speaks about it a fair bit. We do need craftspeople, visual artists, modellers etc. but the world equally needs people who understand complex products, businesses, and systems like ERP systems, Traffic Control systems, Banking, Med Tech. etc. If I had the scruples I'd be a scientist, but then I found myself smack in the middle of these two types of design worlds and now I'm happy.

  • PanOut is your second brain to help run your agency.

  • βœ… Status reports of live projects
  • βœ… Light CRM, prospects in the sales pipeline, etc., to help resource management.
  • βœ… Track team members' growth track and remuneration history.
  • βœ… Track crucial numbers like the number of projects (retainers or project basis and their division), total leads, total proposals sent, operating margins of different projects etc.
  • βœ… With the help of analytics and documentation, enable cash flow management and reminders for crucial financial events like receivables, payables, bills, taxation, TDS, GST, etc.

  • Khosla Labs is a technology innovation lab founded in 2012 by Vinod Khosla and Srikanth Nadhamuni.
  • It functions as a startup incubator and focuses on solving large-scale problems through technological innovation.
  • > As a newbie, I worked on various product design projects (mobile and web apps)
  • > I struggled to find some ground here since I came from a different world of design (automotive/industrial design)
  • > Without a mentor or a guide I was the only designer amongst the PhDs and IIT folks that made up most of the team. As I remember, it was fun & scary both.
  • > I realised that industrial design is excruciatingly slow and fairly simplistic in comparison and almost gave up university studies to switch lanes.
  • > my first taste of "startups"
