I lead strategy and operations for the K.R. Mangalam Group—schools and a multidisciplinary university across engineering, management, law, liberal arts, design, and more. My work sits at the intersection of institution-building and execution: launching campuses and programs, scaling admissions and marketing, hiring and developing faculty, and building the operating systems behind quality, accountability, and student outcomes. During my internship at NAVER Labs Europe, I worked on Neural Machine Translation (NMT), focusing on translating noisy, user-generated text. I spent my days experimenting with different Transformer models (characters, words, tokens), trying to make sense of internet slang, emojis, and endless typos. Although most of my experiments didn't lead to breakthroughs and my paper submissions faced multiple rejections, the experience was incredibly insightful.
