About

I’m a software engineering manager leading teams focused on data analytics and large-scale simulation within Apple’s Storage Technologies. My work centers on enabling better products through data-driven insight and strong technical foundations. My teams support Apple’s entire product line by making complex storage systems more observable, testable, and predictable. We build and operate a cloud-scale SSD simulation platform that accelerates embedded development, improves QA coverage, enables A/B testing, and supports research into performance and reliability under real-world workloads. Alongside simulation, our data analytics work continues to expand in scope, supporting multiple domains across Storage Technologies and helping teams make informed engineering and product decisions. I care about building high-performing engineering teams, practical innovation, and creating an environment where engineers can grow while working on problems that matter at scale. If you’re motivated by low-level systems, data, and real product impact, this is the kind of work you’ll likely enjoy.

Promoted

Mar 2018Present · 8 yrs

  • The Storage Simulation and Data Analytics team builds Apple's SSD simulator which runs firmware, analyzes and produces insights, and profiles realistic workloads over many thousands of cores. My team is a high-pace and high-functioning team of FW engineers, Backend engineers and Data Scientists that use the latest simulation technologies to tackle complex, large-scale problems.
  • We are building the state of the art, fastest and most efficient SSD, used on the iPhone, the iPad, Apple Watch and the new Apple Silicon Macs
