Animesh Seth — Software Engineer

I am someone passionate about creating and designing solutions to meet innovation for a better future. Started this journey from my school days with the design of a miniature compressed air powered F1 race car, followed by turning family photos into videos to weave stories through simple visuals using self-taught editing tools. Fast forward 3 years, my fascination with how robotics can interact in remarkable ways led me to building robots using Lego Mindstorm Ev3 kits and soon after the development of interface solutions for a holographic projector by integrating its display with an infrared sensor over a custom build frame; thereby creating a novel method of interacting with objects in a 3-dimensional space. My graduate study in computer science and business systems gives me a holistic understanding of how technology interacts with other functions. I am proud of putting my learning into practice in projects where I have used AI in real life scenarios to make a difference such as: 1) Real-time credit card detection system to streamline the repetitive process of entering payment details in the payment solutions portal, being used by various retail portals at the moment. 2) Recruitment interviews, highlighting its impact on fairness, efficiency, and applicant perception. 3) Pharmaceutical solutions system to deliver an advanced medicine recognition capability, expediting inventory management and minimizing man-hour expenditure. 4) Threat analysis and risk monitoring on a real-time basis for HNI and government clients for security and privacy. Besides academics, I have worked with a production house on films on anti-bullying and with NGOs on girl child education. I am also working on a project to develop a machine learning model to classify emotions on a real time basis of children suffering from ADHD and Down Syndrome, and up skilling myself in Tiny ML for optimizing TensorFlow models to run on embedded systems.
