• Project Thesis:
• Integration and Enhancements of Existing Tools to Support an Advanced Debugging Framework to Assist Post-Silicon Validation
• Co-designed and developed enhancements and feature enrichments for a failure bucketing tool (signature based auto-bucketing solution at Intel for Post-silicon CPU System Validation) in order to define standard APIs as well as their usage, and make it enable certain functionalities in a newly proposed debugging framework to assist in Post-Silicon System validation. Co-worked in the design and development of the User Interface for the debugging framework.
• Technologies Used: Python 2.6, 2.7, Core Java
• Implemented scripts for incremental regression testing for the failure bucketing tool in order to run regressions on one failure context at a time.
• Added data structures to the signatures to capture data deciphered by the signatures, and added a module which will serialize the instantiated data structure objects and store the same for future usage in debug flow writing.
• Integrated an Array Freeze Dump Abstractor tool with the failure bucketing tool.
• Developed an Eclipse Plugin in Java which will parse an XSD document and display the complex types and attributes defined in the XSD document in a hierarchical tree structure, and will enable the user to select the desired types and attributes from the tree structure and generate an XML document out of the selected types and attributes. Added functions to validate the XML file with the XSD document, and highlight the tree nodes which violate the schema definition.
