Over 8+ being working in the media, I have come to acquire an active interest and skill set across various different areas of content creation and storytelling - especially on the internet. My first job was of an Entertainment Journalist with Zee Entertainment. Then I moved to MissMalini and over my glorious years there, I wore many hats and quickly scaled up in the ladder - starting from Bollywood Blogger, Bollywood Content Strategist, Scriptwriter, Creative Producer and eventually Creative Head of the company. Other aspects of my job included but were not limited to interviewing celebrities, fleshing out branded content from concept to execution, being the face of many successful digital series for brands like Pepperfry, Gillette and Sunsilk and being deeply involved in the Film Partnerships leg of the firm. In 2019, I quit my very wonderful full time job to become my own boss as a freelancer. I felt confident in my skill set to embark on a new journey to collaborate with like minded creative people and create engaging content pieces for digital and mainline platforms. Since then, I have acted on the big screen with my debut film Bhangra Paa Le, created my own web-show Arrey Yaar Bollywood for SNG Comedy, been the face of one of the first Netflix India's YouTube shows, What's On Netflix, appeared in Netflix India's Jamtara episode of Menu Please on YouTube, been scriptwriter on Fake Or Not feat. Mallika Dua for Flipkart, written Lakshmi Manchu's talk show Coming Back To Life, hosted the 3-day global event in association with UN Women called It's A Girl Thing and been 1st runner up on Sterling Reserve Comedy Project on Comedy Central. I have also worked closely with brands like Amazon, LBB, OPPO, Stayfree, Dove, Gillette, Kohler to name a few. More recently, I was the Senior Producer on Endemol Shine's show for Discovery+ called Star Vs Food featuring Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Malaika Arora and Pratik Gandhi. I created my own Podcast called I Have Feelings featuring Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, Rohan Joshi, Nakuul Mehta, Ravi Dubey and Nicole Concessao that's gotten organic coverage on platforms like Brut India, MissMalini, Spotify India, Mid-day, Bollywood Bubble and Republic TV. I am also a small business owner. My venture is called Goddess Hour and it is an all inclusive dance workshop designed to unleash your inner goddess to promote self love and body positivity.
