• I spearheaded the development of an AI/ML-enabled search and Recommendation service platform, managing a volume of almost 2.1 billion requests monthly. Additionally, I’ve successfully established and managed a customer/seller support tech service, effectively handling almost 40K tickets daily.
• To enhance team collaboration and streamline processes, I initiated key initiatives such as a design review forum and office hours for seamless communication with sister teams. Committed to efficiency, I introduced templates including code review, design documentation, and on-call ticket updates, as well as multiple checklists for critical processes like code reviews and production releases.
• I dedicate substantial time to strategic planning, encompassing both short-term and long-term initiatives. Additionally, I actively engage in monthly and fortnightly reviews with leadership, ensuring comprehensive updates on the progress and developments within my area of responsibility. To foster effective communication and team alignment, I conduct regular one-on-one meetings with my direct reports.
• As part of my continuous learning, I lead a tech workshop series, inviting engineers to share insights on emerging technologies, fostering a culture of ongoing education and innovation within the team.

• Tapzo got acquired by Amazon and I became founding team member for launching High frequency categories (HFC) for travel and entertainment domain.
• My initial contribution on the team was to on-board couponing service (agnostic of category) of Tapzo on Amazon eco system and work on platform for building ordering, payments and post order experiences for HFC. With help of this we launched first Travel category flights on Amazon.
• My next project was to build movie booking on Amazon. In this category I owned critical features like seat layout, asynchronous movie booking and movie cancellation.
• Moving on to next project was migration of existing Tapzo coupon service to Amazon rewards system. I lead the team of 6 people and on-boarded 6+ categories on new rewards system without a single second of downtime. I overcame challenges of integration of incompatible tech stack of Tapzo and Amazon, built cart service for platform etc.
• Along with above projects I have taken several Operation excellence initiative like latency reduction, solving recurring problems etc. I have mentored 6+ SDE in Amazon and have taken 60+ interviews.

• I started leading team of 5 people (2 SDE, 2 FEE and 1 QAE). I took responsibility of various existing system on Tapzo like Coupons, Subscription, Tapzo wallet, Notifications etc.
• Along with maintaining above mentioned service I also delivered Digital Gold as a High frequency category on Tapzo App where we were clocking ~1k+ orders.

• Designed and implemented User engagement dashboard. This was used by category manager of Tapzo to send In app notifications and mails to customer base on the desired time. System was sending ~10M notification everyday and had capability to raise to ~100M notification via Horizontal scaling. System involved following component
• Dashboard using React and Node JS to create campaign.
• Scheduler service to schedule the campaign using celery and RabbitMQ.
• Consumer to send notifications using celery and RabbitMQ.
• Designed and implemented Tapzo subscription service. It gave customer extra benefit than regular customers. On-boarded 10+ category including Recharge, Bill Payments, Flight booking, Cab etc. I did this project along with 4 other team members.
• Designed and Implemented end to end Tapzo Wallet System and enabled it for payments on App.
