About

Offensive Security Researcher | 20+ Years in Cybersecurity I am a seasoned offensive security researcher with over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity. After initially coming to the U.S. under an O-1 visa (alien with extraordinary ability), I now hold permanent residency (green card). With over two decades of experience, I specialize in offensive security, penetration testing, and vulnerability research. I’ve led efforts to identify, exploit, and mitigate vulnerabilities across the product lifecycle, from network protocols and web applications to Red Team exercises. In recent years, I’ve focused on research-driven approaches, helping teams design security measures from the ground up to eliminate entire classes of vulnerabilities. I co-founded the H2HC (Hackers to Hackers Conference), the longest-running hacking conference in Latin America, and have shared my expertise through presentations, trainings, and publications. My technical expertise includes Intel x86, Synopsys ARC-SEM, reverse engineering (PE/ELF), assembly, C programming, and Python for exploit development. ----- Having fun riding motorcycles with my kid, and hacking things for fun (curiosity and challenge). Fascinated by exposing the guts of systems and machines in a graphical way (like in Neuromancer), and instrumenting them to decode, break, and repurpose them. Passionate about that thin interface between hardware and software: firmware, operating systems, bus protocols, binary formats, and more. I believe strong fundamentals are key to adapting and excelling with any new technology.
