About

My first real job was in a call centre in Delhi. I'd tried aviation before that. Two and a half years of theory. Couldn't finish the last six months of training. So I did what made sense — picked up a headset and started talking to people. Turned out I was good at it. Still am. FreeCharge called it social media customer success. YourQuote called it Chief of Staff. Zepto called it founding team. I just called it: show up, understand what's broken, fix it, move on. Employee #7 at Zepto. We went from 7 people to 800 in six months. I didn't have a job description. I just had things that needed doing. At Unacademy, I launched a category that didn't exist. Two people. Blank slate. 11L in revenue by month one. At Glasskeeper, we grew from ₹30k to ₹3 lakhs a month. Bootstrapped. Six months. None of this was planned. I come from a humble background. I took whatever came, and I made sure I over-delivered every single time. That's the only pedigree I have. And honestly? It's enough. I started Unbelong because founders kept asking me to step in. Not to consult. Not to advise. To come in and finish the thing. So that's what we do. Short sprints. Right person. Clear scope. Done. No hiring loops. No agency bloat. No overstaying. I'm also building something for founders and operators in Bangalore. A small room. Honest conversations. No stages. More on that soon. If something's been sitting on your backlog too long — www.unbelong.space If you'd rather ship than pitch — the bench is open.

Unbelong

Founder

Feb 2026Present · 2 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India · Hybrid

  • Most work doesn't stall because founders are lazy.
  • It stalls because hiring feels like too much for three weeks of real work.
  • And agencies feel like bringing a truck to move a sofa.
  • Unbelong sits right in that gap.
  • I run structured sprints for founders with things that have been pending too long.
  • Sometimes I step in directly. Sometimes I bring in the right person from my network.
  • Either way — clear scope, fixed window, clean close.
  • Also building a small community for first-time founders and early operators in Bangalore.

  • We tried to fix something genuinely broken in real estate.
  • Went directly to Resident Welfare Associations, split the brokerage with them, gave buyers a trusted source.
  • The idea made sense. The revenue didn't come.
  • We shut it down before it became something we were just surviving through.
  • No drama. Good learning.

Chief of Staff I Business Head

Sep 2023Aug 2024 · 11 mos · Bengaluru East, Karnataka, India · On-site

  • Premium co-living for gated communities in Bengaluru.
  • Bootstrapped. Resource-constrained. Moving fast.
  • I ran business operations — onboarding societies, managing service delivery, keeping things moving when the playbook didn't exist.
  • Wore every hat. That's just the job at this stage.

  • Car cleaning in the morning. Home services through the day.
  • All inside high-rise societies in Bangalore — same campus, delivered in minutes.
  • We built the team, the ops, and the customer trust from zero.
  • ₹30,000 a month when we started. ₹3,00,000 a month six months later.
  • No funding. Just doing the work.
  • Revenue plateaued. We needed capital to go further.
  • Capital didn't come. I moved on.

Zepto

Chief Of Staff

Jun 2021Apr 2022 · 10 mos · Mumbai, Maharashtra, India · On-site

  • I was employee number seven.
  • We didn't have processes. We didn't have teams. We barely had desks.
  • What we had was two founders who knew exactly what they wanted to build — and needed someone to build everything around them.
  • Six months later: 800+ people, multiple dark stores live, HR, ops, customer success, and the founder's office — all running.
  • I didn't have a title that covered what I actually did.
  • Chief of Staff was close enough.
  • Zepto is a unicorn now. I was there before anyone knew it would be.

  • Third employee at a short-video platform that was growing faster than anyone expected.
  • I built the teams — marketing, PR, content, legal, tech, ops.
  • Not one at a time. All at once.
  • From three people to forty, across every department.
  • The company raised more money, brought in senior leadership, and eventually wound down.
  • What I built outlasted my time there.

  • COVID. No jobs. I started a content agency.
  • Four freelancers. Five to six clients. Delivered everything on time.
  • One client — Mitron — liked how I worked and asked me to come in full time.
  • I said yes.

Unacademy

Jul 2019Mar 2020 · 8 mos · Bengaluru Area, India · On-site

  • NEET PG didn't exist on Unacademy.
  • I was asked to build it.
  • Two people. No category. No educators. No content.
  • Three months later: 35+ educators onboarded.
  • Month one of launch: 11L in revenue.
  • Then COVID hit. The company restructured.
  • The category I built is still there.

Chief Of Staff

May 2018Jul 2019 · 1 yr 2 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India · On-site

  • Joined as a social media lead at a writing platform people called 'Instagram for writers.'
  • Got promoted every three months.
  • Operations. Product. Release management.
  • Chief of Staff inside a year.
  • Worked directly with the founders on whatever the company needed next.
  • This place taught me how to think like a builder, not just an executor.

Freecharge

Team Lead Social Media

Aug 2014Sep 2017 · 3 yrs 1 mo · Bengaluru · On-site

  • Fintech was new. FreeCharge was leading it.
  • Twitter and Facebook weren't support channels yet — we were making it up as we went.
  • I built the social media customer success team from scratch.
  • Led it for three years. Three different roles.
  • This is where I learned that talking to customers isn't a cost centre.
  • Done right, it's the fastest way to understand what's broken.

  • One of India's early e-commerce companies.
  • Online shopping was still earning trust from Indian customers.
  • I came in with two years of international BPO experience.
  • It gave me a different lens — I understood what people actually needed, not just what they were asking for.
  • That skill never left.
