Most engineering students talk about switching to CS. I just started building. I'm a Chemical Engineering undergrad at IIT (BHU) Varanasi who went deep into software — DSA, Full-stack development, and Machine Learning — not because a course required it, but because I couldn't stop. On the development side, I build with the MERN stack. I've shipped a property rental platform with geolocated maps, cloud storage, and secure auth — and a virtual stock trading app with real-time order simulation and JWT-protected sessions. I care about clean architecture: RESTful APIs, MVC patterns, code that scales and that teammates can actually read. On the problem-solving side, I've solved 1000+ problems on platforms like Codeforces, Codechef & Leetcode. Algorithms aren't a chore for me — they're where I sharpen how I think. I've also been building in ML through the Coursera Machine Learning Specialization — supervised learning, model evaluation, practical implementation — because I want to understand the full picture of what software can do. Beyond the screen, I mentored underprivileged students through IIT (BHU)'s Sahyog Club and led a team to a top-10 finish at Cisco Ideathon 2025. I know how to work in a team, lead when needed, and stay grounded in the actual goal. I enjoy tackling challenging problems, optimizing solutions, and continuously improving my approach to coding and development. I'm heading into my SDE internship at Wells Fargo, and I'm always open to conversations about ambitious projects, full-time SWE roles for 2027, and people who take building seriously.
