• In Television Broadcasting industry the term Tele-Porting is used to transfer the TV content over a satellite link. Cloud-Porting is similar except that instead of using the costly Satellite link, we use the Cloud or the Internet to do the same transfer.

• ONZE is one of the few and perhaps the only profitable LBS company from India. Our LBS platform is used by some of the leading brands to provide Store Locator service on multiple channels to customers. SMS is the predominant channel but we also provide the same service as a website plugin, Facebook widget and mobile application.
• As Director of Engineering I was instrumental in designing an architecture which could handle requests from multiple sources (SMS, Mobile, Facebook, Website) and at the same time provide a unified user experience to consumer.
• Moving the entire technology stack to Web 2.0 technologies and training the company about newer technologies.
• Managing, Training and Guiding team on multiple technologies (C++ core engine, Ruby on Rails Frontend, Latlong Maps creation and map builds etc..)
• Productizing multiple products utilizing Latlong's LBS core platform. Enterprise Route Guide, Online Store Locator, Facebook Store locator, Branded mobile application.
• Taking up the cause with TRAI to get Latlong exempted from the draconian NCPR Guidelines to curb unsolicited SMS and calls.

• http://www.mloyalty.in - Replacing card based loyalty programs to a very simple, no nonsense and flexible mobile loyalty system. Convenient to both businesses as well as consumers
• http://www.revu.in - Allows a business to let it's customer share their experiences with a simple SMS. The SMS could directly update the users Twitter/Facebook status and help the business get a word of mouth buzz on social media.

• Zebu was started on the lines of Small Giants where we would work on stuff that we enjoy the most. This marked my switch from Embedded systems to Consumer (web) applications.
• We created Dog-Earz http://dog-earz.com to create content rich newsletters in under 30 minutes. A single application where you could discover new content/news, Shape it the way you want to, Share it with your contact list and analyze what your audience is reading.
• I also hacked with Twitter API, storing tweets with links and determining trending news around your circle of influence. Experimented with something called Twitter Rank on the same lines as Google Page Rank to establish the popularity of a Twitter User
